Why We Don't Offer Casual Puppy Visits

The health and wellbeing of our puppies always come first.

For this reason, we do not offer casual visits to our property. Families must have an approved puppy application and have paid their deposit before arranging a visit. We also offer puppy collections at designated meeting points.

This is an important part of our biosecurity practices, helping protect our puppies and adult dogs from potentially harmful diseases that visitors could unknowingly bring onto our property.

Why We Don't Let Puppies Choose Their Families

We often hear people say, "Let the puppy choose you." However, we don't believe this is a reliable way to select the right puppy.

A puppy might approach you because it's curious, likes a particular smell or simply happens to be feeling playful. Another puppy might be tired after a big day and prefer to sleep. None of these behaviors necessarily mean a puppy has chosen its forever family.

We raise our puppies from birth and spend weeks watching their individual personalities develop. We get to know their confidence, energy levels, temperament, and individual characteristics.

This is why we carefully match our puppies to their families, taking into consideration their lifestyle, household, experience, and expectations.

Our goal isn't simply to sell you a puppy. It's to match you with the right companion for many happy years together.

We believe the best matches come from knowing our puppies, not from a five-minute interaction.
